How it works

  1. It watches the careers pages

Gradbo checks UK employers' own careers pages and applicant tracking boards several times a day and keeps the early-careers roles. LinkedIn and Indeed listings are not used.

  2. It scores each role against your CV

Every new role is checked for eligibility and fit, then reviewed against your CV with evidence quoted from the advert. You choose the kinds of role, preferred UK locations, a minimum salary and the employers you would love to work for.

  3. It prepares and sends the ones you pick

Select the roles you want. Documents, employer accounts, form filling and submission are handled for you.

From there, each application moves through these stages.

  1. Queued

  2. Preparing

    Your CV, reworded, not reinvented.

For each advert your CV is reworded using only what your CV already says, most relevant points first. No point gains a number or borrows a tool from elsewhere on the page. Or send your uploaded CV unchanged.

  3. Filling application

Where an employer needs an account, Gradbo creates one with a generated password, stored encrypted.

  4. Submitting

Send automatically, or review each application first.

The work is the same either way. You choose when you set up and can switch at any time in Settings.

    Automatic

Gradbo submits as soon as the form is filled in, without showing you first. By choosing this you agree it may accept the terms, privacy notices and consents each form requires. Optional marketing stays unticked.

    Review each

Gradbo fills in the form and stops. You see the CV, what changed in it, every answer and the declarations. Edit an answer and it is prepared again. Nothing is sent until you choose Approve and send.

  5. Submitted

Each application keeps a receipt of exactly what was sent: answers, documents, accepted policies and declarations, and the employer's confirmation.

Verified facts only.

Gradbo reads your details from your CV and keeps each one with the exact words it came from. You confirm them and add anything the CV cannot say.

Forms are filled in and written answers are drafted from those details, and statements about you are made only from your verified facts. Anything it does not have, it asks you for, and the application carries on once you answer.
